The town of Uttarkashi is situated in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. This town is a very important traveler destination in the region and it is situated in the Uttarkashi district. Gangotri

Nachiketa Tal (Lake)
Nachiketa Tal is another lake about 29 kilometers, with a small temple on its banks and the Himalayan scenery to keep you lost in admiration of the artistic powers of God.
Yamunotri
Yamunotri is one of the Char Dham and is also the first place to visit in the Char Dham route. Thousands of visitor visits to Yamunotri temple of Goddess Yamuna from April to October.
Kedar Tal
Kedar Tal is situated 18 kilometers from Gangotri and can be reached via a difficult mountainous trail. It is located around 15,000 feet above ocean level and is perfect for base camps for trekking to Jogin, Thalayasagar, and Bhrigupanth.
Greatest Time to Visit Uttarkashi
The summer season (April to June) is the greatest time to visit Uttarkashi. The climate is very pleasant and the temperature varies from 15 °C to 30 °C. Though the days are hot, the nighttimes can get a bit colder, so don’t forget to carry a set of light woolen clothes. During this time, the town turns into a beautiful vision of green with blooming flowers. The months of September, October, and November are also considered favorable as most of the holy Hindu festivals happen during this time. The entire town joins in the festivities; travelers and pilgrims from far-flung areas visit Uttarkashi despite the monsoons, to be a part of the events, and pay their respect to the Hindu Gods.
